UK’s OJEU Replacement Service Confirmed
Contracting authorities currently use the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) to advertise contracts and publish e-notices for procurement of goods and services.
The government has introduced a new e-notification service, this will replace the current OJEU service. The UK “Find a Tender” will replace UK’s OJEU and will be used to advertise contracts and provide information on contract updates such as award dates and any modifications. The service will be available from 1 January 2021.
Contracting authorities should continue to publish notices in OJEU as normal. Those registered on the current UK Contracts Finder service will automatically have an account on the ‘Find a Tender’ service when it goes live.
